Prizm Art Fair

latest news

Prizm Art Fair returns the Alfred I. DuPont  Building, December 2 – 8, 2019 with invited galleries and a juried special section organized by William Cordova, Naiomy Guerrero, Mikhaile Solomon, Oshun Layne, and Ryan Dennis.

Prizm is the producer of a cutting-edge platform that is multidisciplinary in scope.  Our goal is to expand the spectrum of exhibiting international artists from Africa, the African diaspora and emerging markets, who reflect global trends in contemporary art.  Prizm exhibits a dynamic group of contemporary artists during Miami art week and beyond.  Salient works are presented that highlight the diversity evident in contemporary visual arts practice today, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, and installations.

Additionally, Prizm features works by emerging Miami-based artists. These artists redefine their world and bring into focus socio-political and cultural issues pertinent to the people of African descent in Miami and around the world.  The select artists are actively engaged in perpetuating Miami’s growth as a cultural hub.  Workshops and special events are organized throughout the year to advance critical dialogue and sharpen the lens through which we view and understand contemporary art.   We are committed to the Miami cultural community and work to expand its visual arts landscape, nurture and educate its constituents and provide forums for cross-cultural exchange.
